New Race Seat

Finally, I fit snug in the race car. I no longer have to compromise my sitting position. The previous seat was wide… very wide – 18″ across.

The original setup was for a co-driver that was taller and wider. So, it was only natural to adapt to his position. The seat was also setup with a slider so that it could be moved forward for me.

In the end the partnership didn’t work out; he got “cold feet” and “driving” fast wasn’t his game plan, so I sold the seat and got a seat that fit me. Easy solution 🙂

The difference is a reduction of three inches across, and what a world of a difference. The seat is comfortable and I no longer have to insert a foam backing.
