Nose Vibration Harshness

Previous thread:

Nose Vibration Harshness, or “NVH”, is a methodology that car manufactures use in their engineering process to decrease cabin annoyances. It’s a balancing act between performance and comfort. Those of us that competitively drive neons we are all too familiar with broken motor mounts.

Anyway, it was the wrong decision for the civic. I went back and forth on the pro’s and con’s and in the end compromised for a comfort setting.

After this season I can say without a doubt,  Innovative Mounts 75A (Track)  is not enough. The motor moves under boost and deceleration.

I keep forgetting – becasue “Race car”.
