Typically to remove a ball joint a special tool is required. It just makes life easy, but what about the days you can’t find the tool or can’t afford one…

So, with a bit of physic’s and a swift kick removal of the ball joint can be accomplished.

There are 2 options to this. You can use an extension or a wrench.

jack the car up so that you can position the tool in-between the ball joint – take note of the axel.

Then drop the jack so that’s snug and then kick
